Academy of Bengali Poetry believe that there is a need to highlight the efforts of poets, who work in remote areas and do not have any recognition.
Academy awards will help them value the need to access the social impact of our action. This is good to see a shifting focus to young and budding poets of different districts and small towns has been started.
We know that there is so much courage and creativity in these poets.
Our recognition is worthwhile initiative that will spur innovation! We believe that such awards are required because so far Government bodies as well as corporate have not recognized young generations' excellent work done over years.
